SIM CARD INSTALLATION

INSTALL A SIM CARD

In order to enable connectivity on the car, please install a SIM with a suitable data-only contract. You might need to request it from your mobile network provider.

SIM CARD INSTALLATION

STEP 1
Depending on your Infotainment system, the SIM card size should be:

 

InControl Touch Pro: Micro SIM
InControl Touch/ Touch Plus: Mini SIM

 

STEP 2
Make sure that the SIM card is fully inserted with the gold connectors uppermost and the shortest end facing outwards. When the SIM card is correctly inserted, it should not be sticking out from the slot.

WI-FI HOTSPOT

Access the connectivity settings on your car from the general car settings menu. To enable the Wi-Fi Hotspot, slide the Hotspot button towards the right to ON.

 

Click on Hotspot settings to view the password required for accessing the in-car Wi-Fi Hotspot.

As we roll out InControl, specific features described may be optional and market or powertrain dependent. Please consult your local Jaguar retailer for availability and full terms in your country. Certain features require an appropriate SIM with a suitable data contract, which will require a further subscription after the initial term advised by your retailer. Mobile connectivity cannot be guaranteed in all locations.
